1. Group buying
Is Dealvana legit?
Yes. We’re Dealvana, run by WD Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 36 701 566 421) in Melbourne. We launched on 29 October 2026 after 9 months building the site and finding suppliers, and your card is only charged if a deal reaches its buyer target. See About Dealvana.
Who runs Dealvana?
We do: WD Ventures Pty Ltd, ABN 36 701 566 421. “Dealvana” is our registered business name.
What is group buying?
Shoppers join the same time-limited deal so a supplier can offer a lower price than it could for a single purchase. Once the minimum buyer target is reached, the group price is unlocked for everyone who joined.
Do I pay the full retail price if the target is missed?
No. A Dealvana group buy either proceeds at the displayed group price or does not proceed. It never converts into a full-price order, and if it does not unlock you are not charged.
Can I see how close a deal is to unlocking?
Yes. Every live listing shows the minimum buyer target, how many shoppers have joined, the progress so far and the time remaining.
What happens when a deal reaches its target?
The deal goes ahead. Every saved card is charged the group-buy price plus shipping, the supplier receives the orders, and dispatch starts within the timeframe shown on the deal. Unless the deal’s Dispatch information says otherwise, that timeframe usually runs from when the target is met, not from the deal’s end date. Anyone who joins after the target is met is part of the same deal: they are charged straight away, and the supplier fulfils and dispatches their order within the timeframe shown on the deal.
2. Payments
When is my card charged?
Only when the deal reaches its minimum buyer target by the deadline. Until then your card is saved securely with Stripe and nothing is taken. If you join a deal that has already reached its target, you are charged at checkout.
Why does Dealvana check my card at checkout?
We confirm the card can cover the order total on the day you join and release that check immediately, so a deal is never let down by an empty card at the moment it unlocks. Nothing is charged at that point.
What if the deal does not reach its target?
The deal closes, every order is cancelled automatically and nothing is charged. You are emailed either way.
Is joining a deal a commitment?
Yes. Joining means you agree to buy at the deal price if the target is reached by the deadline. It is not a wish list, so only join deals you want.
3. Delivery and returns
Who sends my order?
The supplier named on the deal listing packs and dispatches it. The listing shows the expected dispatch window and the delivery options available.
When will my order ship?
A deal goes ahead as soon as it reaches its buyer target, and orders are usually dispatched from then rather than after the deal’s end date, unless the deal’s Dispatch information says otherwise. The estimated dispatch date and timeframe are in that tab. You are emailed when your order leaves, with a tracking reference where the supplier provides one.
Something arrived damaged, faulty or not as described. What now?
Your Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply and the supplier is responsible for repairs, replacements and refunds. Contact us with your order number and photos and we will work with the supplier on your behalf. See Returns & Consumer Rights.
Can I change my mind after a deal succeeds?
Once the target is reached the order is confirmed and paid, so change-of-mind returns are at the supplier’s discretion and are set out on each deal. Your consumer guarantees are never affected.
