In short: we collect what we need to run deals and payments, we never store card numbers (Stripe handles them), and we share delivery and contact details (name, address, phone and email) only with the supplier fulfilling your order.
Dealvana (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by WD Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 36 701 566 421). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
We share information only as needed to run the service, for example with the supplier fulfilling your order, our payment processor, and our email and hosting providers. We do not sell your personal information.
Reviews (Trustpilot). When your order is dispatched, we send Trustpilot A/S (a company in Denmark) your name, email address and order number, so Trustpilot can email you an invitation to review us. We send nothing else, and we never offer anything in return for a review. Trustpilot handles these details under its own privacy policy. You don’t have to leave a review.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram and measure those ads with the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. When you visit dealvana.com.au or join a deal, we tell Meta what happened (for example, the deal you viewed or joined) along with your IP address and browser details, and, where we have them, contact details such as your email address and phone number in hashed form (scrambled so they can’t be read). Meta uses this to measure and improve our ads under its own privacy policy. We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used and fix problems. Some of these providers, and our payment and review providers, store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. You can manage ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and block or clear cookies in your browser.
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
