Who we are
Our founder, Pam Doerf, started Mr Jasper Says when COVID-19 hit her holiday rental business. She saw that there were no sophisticated, masculine-focused candles for style-conscious men and women, so she made them. Mr Jasper himself is a cat.
What we sell
- Candles in two sizes, burning up to 30 or up to 48 hours
- Maxi tealights and wax melts
- Reed diffusers and room sprays
Our nine numbered scents run from #1 The Minimalist to #9 The Bad Boy, with notes like amber, musk, tobacco, sandalwood and leather, never fruity and never floral.
How we make it
We design our own scents and hand-pour and label everything in Ballarat, using soy and coconut-soy wax with lead-free cotton or wooden wicks. We keep packaging to a minimum and choose recycled and recyclable materials.
Giving back
We support cat rescue groups, donating $0.50 for every online order.
Where else to find us
Right now 31 shops stock our candles, across Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia, and we take part in markets and events through the year.
